Summary:
Cryptography has the distinction of being one of the most useful and most misunderstood tools of
the digital age. In order to clarify proper use of the widely-implemented public key cryptographic system,
one must understand the basics which it is built and how to properly use cryptographic applications.
This tutorial covers key concepts and events which shaped the evolution of public key cryptography
and one of its more popular applications, Pretty Good Privacy (PGP).
